Vata - Boil 2 quarts of water for 5 min, take off heat, add 3 mint leaves, 1/2 tsp fennel seed and 1/4 tsp marshmallow root. Pitta - Boil 2 quarts of water for 2 min, take off heat and add 1/4 tsp fennel seed, 2 rose buds and 1 clove. Kapha - Boil 2 quarts of water for 5 minutes. Take off heat, add 3 basil leaves, 2 slices of ginger, 1/4 tsp cumin and 1/2 tsp fennel.

You've enough reasons to restrict the use of cold water as it affects your digestive tract in harmful ways. Drinking cold water shrinks blood vessels, weakens immune system, and causes indigestion. Drink warm or room temperature water to keep health issues away.
Mix 1 tspn of salt in warm water, drain with cotton ball and squeeze into ear with head tilted, then tilt so as to drain water out. You can also do the same with Hydrogen Peroxide, but mix no more than 3% with water. You can also use baby oil or vinegar, just add a few drops in the affected ear and drain out. For sensitive skin olive oil or warm water can be used.
