Over the years helping women naturally lose weight, I occasionally get asked how to naturally gain weight in a healthy way. Gaining weight in a healthy way can be a real challenge for some.
Our bodies have a natural “set point” in which they like to maintain a certain body weight. For those who have a very high metabolism and “slim” weight set point, gaining weight can be a real challenge.
Our weight “set point” is based on many factors including our genetics, age, gender, activity level and will change especially as we age.
That being said, this doesn’t mean we can’t influence our bodies natural weight set point. To influence your body’s weight “set point” all you have to do simply to eat more food high in calories.
But increasing your daily caloric intake can be a real chore and unfortunately, the food that’s high in calories is usually very unhealthy.
Healthy food is generally much lower in calories than junk food, so it’s hard to eat enough of it to make a real dent in the overall daily caloric intake.
So then the question becomes, “how do I increase my caloric intake with healthy foods that are full of nutrition and not junk?”
The answer is a healthy weight gain super smoothie. What is a healthy weight gain super smoothie? It’s essentially a liquid meal full of nutrition and calories. A healthy weight gain super smoothie works wonders because it’s …
- Very healthy.
- Quick and easy to make.
- Taste amazing.
Below is one of my favorite weight gain super smoothie recipe that has helped many of my clients gain weight in a natural sustainable way. I recommend if you’re looking to gain weight in a natural, healthy and sustainable way. Including 1-2 of these super smoothies into your daily diet and if you want to go the extra mile drinking one just before bed (when our metabolism is it’s slowest).
