For the starting position, kneel on the ground and place your hands on the hips while ensuring that the feet remain firmly placed on the mat. In order to perform the pose, straighten your spine and bend backwards slowly. Once you are able to reach your limit, after bending touch your heels. Elongate your neck and curl your head backwards. Slide your hands to the soles of your feet and maintain that position for about 20 seconds if you are a beginner or more if you have the required stamina.
