I try and do as many of these everyday and we do them in our pilates class too but I am 6' tall and have a job where I sit all day!!! But love to do these. I don't suffer bad back thank goodness
I'm a busy 30 years old man who had no time to go to yoga class. I remember that part of my life when the sciatica pain was literally killing me and when I couldn't fall asleep because of it. Thank god, my sciatica is gone.
Obviously, I did something to cure it and I'm about to tell you what. I did a research and found an e-book which taught me how to cure sciatica without investing a lot of time and money. I've followed everything carefully, did suggested exercises, streches and I treated my sciatica in just 5 days! It's hard to believe, right? Well, it's truth.
If you want to know more about that ebook, then read this review:

I have a bad back and there's no way I would consider any of these to help me.....looks like torture!! \U0001f62c
Yes exactly what I was saying! Whoever this person is, they are not educated at all about yoga - this is dangerous.
None of these poses are good for people with chronic back pain! Beware, followers - many of these poses can actual make back pain worse. Furthermore, these poses are certainly NOT restorative.
Ok, sigh. I am unfollowing Ayurveda- which clearly is not expert in actual Ayurvedic medicine or yoga. Absolutely no one would recommend most of these poses for chronic back pain - they are not "restorative" - especially urdva dhanurasana!
I'm giggling at the thought of myself trying to get in some of those positions! But hey I'm willing to try anything so thank you
