Salmon are usually classified either as Pacific (Oncorhynchus family) or Atlantic (Salmo family) salmon, according to the ocean in which they are found. There is just one species of Atlantic salmon, while there are five species of Pacific salmon including chinook (or king), sockeye (or red), coho (or silver), pink and chum. Norwegian salmon, a popular type of salmon often offered on restaurant menus, is actually Atlantic salmon that is farm-raised in Norway.
Health Benefits of Salmon

It is very poisoned, we raise loads of salmon here in Norway. I never eat them, and the wild ones are hard to get and very expensive compared. The food they give the salmon is so dangerous to human they have to use protective clothes to handle the food. Support nature, dont buy this!
I love to eat salmon specially smoked salmon.I also love sea bass fish.I have given up meat but fish will be difficult for me.Salmon should never be cooked to much.Fresh salmon should be cooked steam as far as I am aware with steam rice it goes very well,Yummy (Y)
