Delectable Walnut Avocado Lime Pie Breakfast Smoothie

Combine ½ avocado, ½ small banana, ¾ cup water, 1/3 cup of California walnuts, 1/3 cup of coconut milk and 2 tbsp Manuka honey. Add the juice from 1 lime and blend all ingredients together for 1 minute. You may substitute coconut milk with soy milk or rice milk. Adding protein powder will make this smoothie a complete meal in itself.

Ingredients

  • 1/2  ripe avocado
  • 1/2  small banana
  • 3/4  cup cold water
  • 1/3 cup California walnuts(crumbs or halves)
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk (reduced fat)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Juice from 1 lime

Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth for about 1 minute.

Serves 1

Tips

  • Substitute coconut milk and water with soy or rice milk.
  • Try adding protein powder for a complete meal.
