The results of a study showed low-intensity exercise such as walking after a meal suppressed the elevation of post-meal triglyceride concentration after eating a high-fat meal.

The results of a small study showed low-intensity exercise such as walking after a meal suppressed the elevation of post-meal triglyceride concentration after eating a high-fat meal.

A recent study published in Diabetes Care found that in older adults who were overweight, sedentary and with glucose intolerance, walking for 15 minutes shortly after each meal improved daily blood sugar levels to a greater extent.
