I had cramps on the bottom of my feet and in my calves almost every night when I went to bed, the bottom of my feet were the worst, took hours before I could get to sleep. My wife found an article by someone who said Aborsbine Jr cured his cramping, bought a bottle and applied it to the bottom of my feet. I have NOT had a problem sleeping since, when I think my feet will cramp I just apply some on the bottom of my feet. I hope this helps someone because I know what I went through and I tried everything. \U0001f60a
It's different for everyone. I've found when my legs are really bad, I take melatonin to get some sleep. I prefer to go as natural as possible. I've taken tylenol in the past but really don't want to depend on it. During the day, I'll try the stretches for my calves, I drink about 2 litres of water daily and when the cramps are at their worst I get my hubby to rub Mint-eze cream on my legs. The cream is amazing and works all night.
It's so much easier to drink tomato juice, eat bananas, or keep hydrated!!! AND, they're all natural benefits to our bodies!!!
I suffer from RLS and severe legs cramps and I'm afraid my 10 year old and 3 year old sons do as well. What have you found to work best to relieve the discomfort? Nothing I've tried works. We each sleep with heating pads on our legs almost every night. I'm desperate to find a solution. It's painful and extremely uncomfortable. It feels like my legs have a mind of their own.
I've done the quinine, potassium and magnesium. I still get leg cramps and have RLS. I've had it for 7 yrs and it comes and goes. As long as I keep the weight down I'm good for months.
Or quinine water too which is only tonic water that you mix cocktails with aka.:gin and tonic. . Quinine is the main ingredient in Q-vel that's a OTC medicine for nightly leg cramps.
Tried that - couldn't drink that much tomato juice. Kosher pickle juice is the best! Almost instant relief.
I get tons of leg, foot, back cramps. However and I hope someone can explain this, when I eat bananas I get them for sure.
