Recipe: 3 cups frozen organic strawberries, 1 cup organic apple juice or coconut water and 4-5 fresh mint leaves. Mix the ingredients in a speed blender, blend until well incorporated and smooth. This sorbet is rich in Vitamin C, burns fat, improves digestion, increases energy and works well to reduce body temperature.

Strawberry and mint go together like peas and carrots. Strawberries are packed full of Vitamin C and are a low-glycemic fruit, perfect if you are watching your waist line. On the other hand, mint helps with digestion, increases energy, and helps you burn fat quicker. All in all, this pair is a winning combination.

This is a cleansing treat that is perfect for reducing heat in your body. This sorbet, along with 60 and more other recipes found in my Summer Nourishing Cleanse, provides you with whole, cleansing foods that are naturally cooling and seasonal. Serve it up and enjoy
