Essential oils - Rose, Geranium, Neroli, Roman chamomile, Yarrow, Niaouli, Helichrysum, Peppermint and Rosemary are recommended especially for skin care. Their anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties prevent and treat acne while balancing the pH levels in the skin. They also moisturize, soothe and soften the skin and prevent premature aging and wrinkles.

Essential oils are highly potent, steam-distilled plant extracts. Though completely natural, they must be handled and used with care. Used predominantly by aromatherapists, essential oils can be harmful if used without caution. Some essential oils can’t be used during pregnancy or on children. Some of them are disruptive to medical conditions like high blood pressure and epilepsy. Essential oils should be diluted to around 1–3% for use in skin care.
