Unhealthy Posture & LifeStyle:

As you may have noticed, we live in a world where we have all these commodities – we have our couch, our TV, our computers, our washing machines, etc. We have everything we need so that we needn’t stretch too far out in order to get something. We have the tendency of becoming sedentary in a certain routine, and when we’re not relaxing indoors, we mostly work on a chair, typing and staring into a computer screen.

We have all we need, yet, our health isn’t supported in this modern everything that we created. We have evolved so well technologically, yet we tend to forget that, before we were such modernized social beings, we used to travel; we used to hunt, run, carry, and forge weapons.

Re-Engage with Ancient Sciences:

I’m not saying that we were better off back in the rock age, but it is true that we have lost our dynamism, and with it, our physical health. We may be more advanced in an intellectual manner, but our physical body hasn’t changed according to our couches and chairs. And I’m fairly glad that it didn’t.

So while we are suffering from pains that we have inflicted upon ourselves with our lifestyle, there are people out there who can help you regain your natural physical wellness. There are practices older than our known history that exist only to help you heal physically as well as spiritually. Wellness is something that comes from within, and your body responds to it with positive symptoms. In order to regain our health, we must work at our core and eliminate the sources from within that are harming us.

QiGong: Life Energy Cultivation

One practice, out of many ancient alternatives that can cleanse and detoxify your whole body, purifying your every layer, is Qigong. With Qigong, we are always working with our energies and our vibrations. Qigong is rich in techniques for your every need. It offers perspective on meditation, therapy through exercise, and leading up to martial arts.

Watch International instructor and master trainer, Brian Seraiah Wood, gives some simple and easy to learn Chinese Qigong remedies for pain and rehabilitation of problem areas such as neck, upper back and shoulders. This video is great for all ages and levels of experience. With diligent practice you can bring you body back into alignment while stretching and strengthening your muscles and connective tissue.
