Pulse 1 cup almonds, ¼ cup cacao powder and ½ cup coconut shavings until a fine powder is achieved. Add 1 cup pitted dates, ½ tbs coconut oil and 1 tbs honey. Pulse again until a dough like mix is achieved. Roll the dough into small pop size balls and sprinkle some coconut shavings over them. Refrigerate for an hour and enjoy.
These coconut pops are a great alternative to donuts, very easy to prepare and require only about six ingredients. They taste like brownies and have no traces of gluten.
1 cup almonds
¼ cup cacao powder
1½ cup coconut shavings

-Mix the almonds, cacao powder and coconut shavings in a food processor until a fine powder is achieved.
-Add the pitted dates, coconut oil and honey. Pulse until it turns into a dough like mix.
-Now roll the dough into small pop size balls and run them over coconut shavings. Refrigerate for an hour and enjoy.
