It’s pretty tough to make time to go for yoga classes, or perform some sort of aerobics (gym) at home in order to stay fit. Making time is crucial to building a healthy body and mind. However, there are some forms of exercise that offer better health benefits and are quite easy to perform.

You Don’t Need Specific Place And Time
Firstly, if you want to do planks, you don’t need a studio or an empty room. You can do it anywhere, anytime, and it’s free. Just get down on a rug or yoga mat and try to hold the correct pose for 60 seconds or more.
Possible Cure For Osteoporosis
National Osteoporosis Foundation reportedly said that 9 million American adults have osteoporosis and over 48 million more have low bone mass, placing them at risk for osteoporosis and broken bones. The cover girl pic could use a little help with her spine positioning. The lumbar area has a bit too much flexion. A neutral spine is best for standard planks. Just saying ;-)
You can do it either way. :) start at 1 minute and when that gets easy, bump it up til you get to 2 minutes
