Wash your skin tags and the areas around them with soap and leave them to dry. Pour 3 drops of tea tree oil on a moist cotton ball and rub it onto the tags. Do this thrice daily till the tags fall off. Alternatively, apply a paste of baking soda and castor oil. Another cure is a natural medicine extracted from castorbean, white cedar, and narrow-leaved tea tree that can be applied directly.

Skin tags are annoying skin growths that look like small, soft balloons of hanging skin. They are benign, but you may want to remove them for cosmetic reasons.

Here are 3 natural remedies for removing skin tags that have proven to be both safe and effective.

3 Natural Remedies For Skin Tags

1. Tea Tree Oil

You can remove a skin tag using tea tree oil. This fabulous essential oil is extracted from an Australian plant called Melaleuca alternifolia, a plant that works wonders in treating so many skin diseases.

The method for removing skin tags using tea tree oil is simple. You just have to wash the skin tag and its surrounding areas with soap and water and leave it to dry out. Then take a cotton ball and soak it in water and put three drops of tea tree oil on it. You’ll then have to rub it on the skin tag.

Do this three times a day for a couple of days until the tag falls off.

2. Herbal Extracts

The other natural way to remove skin tags is to use a natural medicine extracted from three plants that are very well known for their healing effects on many severe skin conditions. These three plants are Ricinus communis (castorbean), Thuja occidentalis (white cedar), and Melaleuca alternifolia (narrow-leaved tea tree).

3. Castor Oil

Castor oil is another natural remedy. If you want to try it out, it is recommended that you mix it with baking soda. Mix them together until they form a paste and then apply that paste to your skin tags.
