Applying apple cider vinegar/ honey/ cabbage juice or ginger juice can help prevent and correct excessive pigmentation. Make sure you don't sun bath for too long and only get the right amount of sun exposure. Applying a paste made of walnut shells and water can also help. Make sure you follow a diet rich in antioxidants like green tea, fruits and olive oil.
Pigmentation is cased by malfunctioning melanocytes, that fail to produce the right amount of melanin. This causes white spots which may appear on the face, legs and arms. Other reasons why this type of pigmentation may occur include stress, fungal infection, lack of Vitamin B12 or excess sun exposure.
Sun Exposure: Make sure you get the right amount of sun exposure, it shouldn’t be in excess or too less.
Cabbage Juice: Dab cabbage juice on affected areas regularly. The fiber and sulfur in it promote detoxification and counter pigmentation.
Apple Cider Vinegar: This can be used to kill fungal infection that causes white spots. Apply on affected region regularly.
Ginger: Another anti-fungal agent, rubbing raw ginger on the affected region or even consuming it can help.
Honey: It is anti-microbial and nourishes the skin. Dab some raw organic honey after a bath on the spots.
Basil Juice: Crush a few basil leaves and apply the juice on white spots, they work against anything fungal.
Walnut Shell Paste: Grind walnut shells and add some water to make a paste. Apply this paste on your skin for 20 mins and wash clean.
Antioxidants: Add olive oil, green tea and fruits to your daily diet. They can help treat most skin problems.
