Salt is Sodium Chloride i.e. NaCl . It is either obtained from the sea, salty lakes or deposits like the Himalayan salt. Table salt is pure , refined NaCl. for the last tine the best salt i know is sea salt ,the rest is no good.lznd salt harden your arteries ,mess with your kidneys and blood pressure,rock salt is good for preserving food and other things or if you are taking a bath you can put some in to help ease the tension in your body if you wantvto know which salt is good for you,get them all lay them out and if you have a smart dog he or she will tell you
Can you source any info that shows himalayan salt to contain mercury. Also do you mean it contains calcium fluoride or sodium fluoride.
There is no contradiction. Table salt is bad. Himalayan or celtic salt good. One hss been processed. The other is untouched
i havent used additive salt in cooking for years , i do have rock (above) salt, sometimes.im on bp tabs.so am cautious of too much...is rock salt ok ?

Interesting stuff. I crave salt just like I crave sugar. My glucose is normal. My sodium level is low. I do eat salty foods and add or cook with sea salt. My sodium levels continue to be low. I know regular salt is really bad. I prefer sea salt and once consumed I must admit I feel better than before. My Dr., can't figure it out. Wants me to see a nephrologist.
