For Dandruff: Mix 2 tbs grated, 3 tbs olive oil, juice of 1/2 lemon, massage into scalp, soak for 20 mins and wash. Foot Soak: Mix 1-1/2 tbs mustard powder, 2 tsp finely grated ginger in a bowl that fits your feet, stir and soak feet for 20 mins, rinse and pat dry. For Suntan: Mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup olive oil, 2 tbs ginger juice and 2 tbs lemon juice and apply on tanned skin.

Ginger against Dandruff

Ginger uses its antiseptic properties to reduce scalp infections and dandruff problems. Using the following recipe 3 times a week can help you get rid of dandruff.

Recipe:

-Mix 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger along with 3 tablespoons oil (preferably sesame or olive oil).
-Add the juice of half a lemon.
-Massage the mix into your scalp.
-Leave it for 15 to 30 minutes.
-Wash well.

Mustard-Ginger Foot Soak

Mustard-Ginger foot baths is used as a home remedy for aches, colds, chills, general fatigue and sickness.

Recipe

-Combine 1-1/2 Tbsp. mustard powder (or freshly powdered mustard seeds) and 2 tsp finely grated peeled fresh ginger in a bowl that fits your feet with enough hot water to cover the tops of your feet.
-Stir around and then submerge your feet.
-Let your feet soak for 15-20 minutes.
-Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Fresh Ginger to Remove Suntan

Ginger when combined with lemon juice acts as a very good tan removing scrub.

Recipe

-Take half cup sugar, half cup olive oil, 2 tbsp. of ginger juice and 2 tbsp. of lemon juice.
-Mix everything well and using wet fingers scrub it on your arms, feet and even on face with light hands.
-Use this scrub 2 times a week to get rid of tanned skin and to lighten your complexion.
