In today’s V-log I’m talking about the number one mistake so many people do when it comes to weight loss and exercise.
During my student days I was never really happy with my body and was always trying to lose weight. Back in the days, before my career as a certified personal trainer and health coach, I’ve been told that running for hours is the very best way to lose weight, so I thought I’d just give it a try.
I’ve scheduled three running sessions, at 60 minutes per week. Started always super motivated with exquisite beats in my ears and a heart monitor on my chest, because hey, if I’m going to this, I’ll do it properly, right?
What sounds fine in theory often falls at the first hurdle in practice though.
Ha, most of the time I found myself super bored and exhausted only 20 minutes later. Seriously, I couldn’t believe how long 60 minutes can feel.
No need to mention that I never really stuck to my new running-weightloss projects. Little did I know that, I was doing one of the biggest weight loss and exercise mistakes.
Have you ever found yourself running for hours or spending most of your precious time on the treadmill, just because you were so eager to get rid of those nasty last pounds and have this healthy, fit and firm body?
Have you ever forced yourself to continue running or biking, even though your body screamed Stop or your mind told you, Boring? Do you still believe the more time you invest in your training, the better? Yes?
Then you have to watch this bodyhack. You will be surprised about how many people don’t know about that! Watch it now!
