Being physically active can be really hard on your body. My son loves running and is on the track team at his school. This requires hours of daily practice beginning months before the season actually starts.
Thankfully he likes eating healthy foods and follows a vegetarian diet. This helps with increased energy, faster recovery, and less inflammation. All good things, especially if you’re an athlete.
Now this doesn’t mean that he doesn’t get sore, achy muscles. Given that I like to follow a healthy lifestyle and encourage my family to do the same, we turn to essential oils to help give him more of a boost in his health.
Essential Oils are natural, aromatic compounds made from all parts of the plant: seeds, bark, stems, roots, and flowers. When utilizing essential oils for health purposes, always choose a high quality oil. Most available on the market today are adulterated and contain additives and/or harmful ingredients. If you’d like to know which ones I use and recommend, contact me to learn more.
