Your liver performs over 400 functions in your body, and is responsible for keeping your body well. So, it’s important detox or rather cleanse it. Ensuring your liver is free of toxins will definitely work in the favor of your health. In this 4 minute video, Rachel Webb, an expert in spirituality and power of mind-body connection gives you two useful tips that you could incorporate in your day-to-day life to cleanse and detoxify your liver naturally.

Watch this video and learn more about your lifestyle and body:

So, firstly start your day by drinking a large glass of lemon water. In case you’re running out of time to cut fresh lemons, you could pick up an organic lemon juice in a glass container from the supermarket. According to Chinese medicine, lemon acts like a cleansing agent, flushing out the toxins and specifically sending citrus to your liver channel. Make this a daily practice, and you’ll be surprised as to how well it can work for your body.

Chinese Medicine also gives us an emotional perspective to cleansing your liver. The liver is connected to emotions of anger, frustration etc. So, to get rid of this aspect symbolically is by cleansing! This could mean going through your wardrobe, your room and let go of anything you don’t like. Procrastinating this is probably creating an energetic drain, and the easiest way to get rid of this is to let go.
