The efficiency of an average worker has increased many folds in recent years – all thanks accessible technologies which have changed the way we work and live. But all that comes at price – a sedentary lifestyle which can pose a serious health risk.

Newer insights into this field shows us that sitting at your desk for eight hours a day can have a huge negative impact on your health. About three decades back, nearly half of all jobs required physical activity. Today, less than 20% do. Day to day, you may not see any changes in your health, but over a given period of time the effects are pretty staggering.
