What’s the first thing you do in the morning, before you even get out of bed?

I sit up in my bed, and I do my first meditation of the day. It’s 20 minutes, sometimes longer if I don’t have any pressing appointments right away. Meditation is usually an experience that I don’t want to end, so going over the time is never really a problem.

Once you’re up and moving, what does your morning routine look like? Are there certainĀ things you make sure you do, no matter what?

It depends on the day, but the first thing I do is make my bed every morning. It helps me start the day with something I can control. And after that, I have some green tea, or a deca latte, I’ll exercise or do yoga, I’ll straighten up my place, and I’ll shower (in no particular order).Light-Watkins

Tell us about breakfast. What’s your go-to meal?

My go-to meal is an egg frittata or paleo granola. 9 times out of 10, I’m having one of those two meals. Along with some green tea.
