I tend to hit snooze once then close my eyes and visualize what I have to do that day. For me, every day is different (I’m either working on YouTube, off to train clients, doing my own workout or going to a dance rehearsal) so I like to just take a few minutes to prepare myself for what’s happening. Once my alarm goes off again I have a little stretch and twist then jump out of bed.
Once you’re up and moving, what does your morning routine look like? Are there any things you make sure you do, no matter what?
Once I’m up, I shower, get changed and have a gentle stretch like ‘Wake Up Morning Stretch’, then run downstairs for breakfast. I wake up hungry and get excited to have breakfast. It’s my favorite meal of the day and no matter what I always eat breakfast.
Tell us about breakfast. What’s your go-to meal?
I usually start breakfast with a green juice, either fresh or with greens powder followed by oatmeal topped with flaxseed, chia seeds, nut butter, and berries. If I have more time then I’ll have eggs any way or coconut flour pancakes. I have always loved pancakes and my healthy version are so yummy, gluten free and easy to make.
My pancake recipe
Mix 2 eggs with 3 tbsp of coconut flour. Then add 2 tbsp of almond milk to make the perfect batter. Fry it on medium heat in coconut oil until golden on each side and top with nut butter and berries.

I always have fresh flowers in the house. Seeing them first thing in the morning always make me smile. And best advice I’ve received to make my day more productive is to meditate.
