Curejoy Expert Gina Hodge Explains:

You’ve tried all the lash lengthening products in the market, which are not just expensive but also devoid of results.

Coconut oil is known to moisturize and lengthen your eyelashes effectively. The minerals in coconut oil help enhance your eyelashes making them look fuller naturally.

Health Benefits Of Coconut Oil:

Coconut oil rich in lauric acid, has a high affinity for hair protein, and easily penetrates inside the hair shaft, which is due to its low molecular weight. It can be used as a pre-wash or post-wash hair grooming oil. Coconut oil also has a very high moisture retaining capacity, since it is not easily broken down or evaporated, being very stable. It does not let moisture escape, thus keeping hair moist and soft, which prevents breakage of hair.

Apart from this, coconut oil can also be used as a treatment for hair loss, lice removal, scalp damage and hair growth.

The medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) in coconut oil can increase energy expenditure compared to the same amount of calories from longer chain fats. Hence it is another effective remedy for weight loss.

One way to apply coconut oil to your eyelashes is by first melting it. It should only take a few seconds in your microwave. Next, leave it to cool for a bit. Then, use a clean mascara wand or a cotton ball to apply it to your eyelashes. Do this every day, and you will be surprised with the results in a few weeks.

Here’s a coconut oil conditioner you can make for enhanced eyelashes:

What you require:

  1. Coconut Oil
  2. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  3. Vitamin E oil or capsules
  4. Small container
  5. Disposable mascara wand or cotton swabs

Pour equal parts of all the three oils into a clean container. Dip your mascara wand or cotton swab into this solution and apply it on your eyelashes, twice a day. Be sure to use this conditioner on clean eyelashes.

Except these are false lashes. So are all those you see in mascara ads. Wonder why we don't trust the beauty industry?

Regardless of the authenticity of the picture I use coconut oil on my face daily for cleansing, moisturizing, ect.... I use it under my eyes and on my eye lashes.. I have noticed a change and have been asked if my lashes are real.

I love coconut oil on my lashes, toothbrush, hair, skin, in my coffee and the list goes on...it's great stuff! I cook with it too. It's simply amazing. Oh, and I've used it to shine my leather boots also.
