Experts say that the temperature of the testes is what effects the quality and quantity of the sperm. Testes can overheat when a man wears underwear. If the testes are too hot, they are not able to produce sufficient sperm, resulting in low sperm count. Wearing boxers can stabilize the temperature of the testes optimizing sperm quality and quantity.

This may sound quite rubbish but your sperm quality does depend on what kind of inner wears you wear. However, the sperm quality is not solely depended on it but there are considerable amount of chances of increasing the quality of your sperm by choosing the right kind of under garments.

If you look at the fertility problems, out of 100 diagnosis, 50 would be caused by low-sperm count. Perhaps, as trivial act as changing the kind of underwear a man wears can make a difference.

Boxers Versus Briefs for Sperm health

One of the experts say that the temperature of the testes is what impacts the quality and quantity of the sperm. Therefore, the quality and material of the underwear matters a lot.

Testes can overheat when a man wears brief underwear. If the testes are too hot — several degrees above where they should be — they are not able to produce sufficient sperm, resulting in low sperm count.

On the contrary, wearing boxers can stabilize the temperature of the Testes optimizing the sperm quality.

To keep testes at optimal temperature, don’t wear tight pants and underwear, esp. if you are playing any form of sports. Wear loose clothing, especially if you sit for long periods of time.
