Artemisia Annua or Sweet Wormwood, which has been used in Chinese medicine to treat malaria, has proven to kill over 98% lung cancer cells in over 16 hours. And when this herb is mixed with iron it can completely delete cancer from the system.  Research has shown that malaria cannot thrive in the presence of artemisinine as it has a high amount of iron; similarly is the case with cancer.

Bio-engineers from the University of Washington recently proved this along with the fact that cancer cells undergo self-destruction when exposed to artemisinine. ‘Sanofi’ a French pharmaceutical company has announced production of over 50 to 60 tonnes of artemisinine to meet the world market’s needs.
