We all have or know this one person in a group, who can’t stop making everything about himself/herself, will always be whining about something, never seems happy, and that slowly makes you feel depressed too. Although, you may want to make them feel better or empathize, it’s possible that they are beyond help or need to do it for themselves.
Since that’s the case, if you see these 7 signs in someone, make sure you get away and stay away from them as much as you can. 1
1. Always The One To Judge
Whether it is clothes, character or even someone else’s personal life, that is clearly none of their business, these people will discuss, ridicule and gossip about others, like judging a book by its cover.
2. They Won’t Listen
Always ready with an answer, these people never let you finish what you have to say, as they listen only to respond, not to understand. They may also constantly disagree with what you say and not have much respect for anyone but themselves.
3. A Critic Of The Worst Kind
Whether you share happy, sad or no news at all, they will directly or indirectly attack you with their personal comments and criticize what you do or say. Their behavior could demotivate you, make you doubt yourself and even feel negative.
4. Always Feel Sorry For Themselves
Always playing victim, they tend to blame others for their mistakes and problems every time. The excuses could be, ‘she was the one that did this to me’ or even ‘the whole world is against me’ and so on. They tend to point their finger at others and dramatize small issues to make it seem like it is a big deal.
5. They Cannot Keep A Secret
These people can never keep secrets and do not deserve your trust. Avoid confiding or having faith in such people.
6. The Perfect Hypocrite
You may find that these people say or preach one thing, but do the complete opposite after that. This is because they see themselves as someone who is above everyone else and approve only of their own words and actions.
7. Everything Becomes Something To Complain About
These sort of people are never happy with anything and nothing impresses them either. They will be able to find something wrong with even the most happy or seemingly perfect things. Assuming they won the lottery on a lovely afternoon, got a promotion and were treated to a five-star cruise across the world with pay; that may still not be enough to make them happy.
